Tender Moments

Last night my 4 year old Jaycee was up eating pretzels while I was bathing baby Emery. After I scrub-a-dubed him squeky clean we were all on my bed putting his jammies on. I asked Jaycee what he thought Emery was saying. He replied, "I am a Child of God." This was followed by the first line of the song (Jaycee's solo):
I am a Child of God
And He has sent me here
Has given me an earthly home
With parents kind and dear
Lead me, Guide me, Walk beside me
Help me find the way
Teach me all that I must do
To live with him someday
My heart was touched and filled at that moment. I'm positive that I am a mother to these children so that I can be taught by their sweet and valient spirits. They are examples to me!!

    Aren't kids amazing!! I think they have such a stronger spirit then we do. On our weekly trips to Logan, Kaylie is always singing church songs and mostly "I Love to See the Temple" I just turn the radio down and listen to here. Just maybe we are doing something right??
