A few weeks ago I sat with the school psychiatrist at our elementary school and we had a chat about the recent testing they had been doing with my 6 year old. The results he had to say were not a surprise, but a confirmation to the fact we have a tremendous son. I posted this a couple days later in facebook. I typed, cried, cried some more, felt a few hundred pounds released as I opened up to a few hundred people about something I have only shared with few, felt an overwhelming sense of love with all the sweet comments and the 60+ friends who liked it, and then cried some more. I wanted my parents, friends, and husband (hi hun) who are not facebook goers to read this also. This has been a journey that is not knew to us, but something that is just apart of what makes each member of our family who they are.

I love my little boy, not quiet so "little" anymore though. He is so wonderful. He loves Lightning McQueen, riding his bike, and pretending to bowl in the kitchen with a soccer ball. We are currently working on him tying his own shoes.... it's a work in progress:) I wouldn't trade him for the world and I'll climb everyday of my life up that mountain with him.....for him. I always thought I'd be able to "fix" everything, after all I'm the mommy. I've learned otherwise, you don't get to pick and choose everything......you just do your very best, love them like crazy, and rely that a loving Heavenly Father will help pick up the peices. ♥
