We were all pretty darn excited about the first of our zucchini squash to arrive. Everybody says that the squash grows great here in Evanston and they were RIGHT. So far I have made: zucchini bread, fried zucchini, hid it in the lasagna, zucchini biscuits, toppings for the salad, and scrambled it with eggs.

Riley was happy to take a picture with the first squash. Funny how a simple thing like zucchini squash can be make 6 people truly happy!!!
that's so fun! We are so excited to have a yard someday...sigh. Wish we were closer, we would totally take some of those off your hands!
